Eudora Pro - Mail

SMTP Auth and SSL

Window Rock email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Window Rock email.

For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Window Rock email.

  • SMTP Authentication
  • SSL Encryption (outgoing)
  • SSL Encryption (incoming)

    • Open Eudora. Click the Special menu and choose Settings.

    Click the Getting Started category on the left.

    • In the Username field, enter your email username or Window Rock email address in the format of username@ Window Rock.net in lowercase letters.
    • Enter your Window Rock mail servers into the Mail Server (incoming mail) and SMTP Server (outgoing mail) boxes. Click here for the list of Window Rock Mail Servers.
    • In the Real Name box, enter your name as you would like it to appear when you send mail.
    • In the Return Address field, enter your Window Rock email address.

    Click the OK button to save your changes and return to Eudora Pro.

     


    		Help us help you! If you contact Window Rock support for assistance please write down any error messages you get when trying to connect to the Internet. Include the name and version of your operating system and the exact text of all error messages. If this information is included in an online case submission or provided to a support representative, it will greatly speed up the troubleshooting process.

    Please be aware that some troubleshooting may require uninstallation and reinstallation of operating system files. To ensure that this type of troubleshooting can be accomplished if required, please be sure that you have to have original Operating System CD or Operating system source files on disk on hand.
